When and where is the 2026 IARSLCE Conference?
The 2026 IARSLCE Conference is taking place on October 11-13 on Loyola University’s campus in New Orleans, Louisiana. 6363 St Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70118.
How do I submit a proposal?
Visit our Online Submission Portal and submit by March 18, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
How do I register?
Register for the conference here. You do not need to be an IARSLCE member to attend; however, current members receive discounts on registration. If you aren’t sure if your IARSLCE membership is active, email admin@iarslce.org. If you need to renew or become a member, click here to join.
Alliance institutions receive five discounted conference registrations. If your institution is a member of the IARSLCE Alliance, please register with your institutional email address so we can verify your affiliation. See list of participating institutions here.
Are scholarships or discounts available?
We work hard to keep conference costs low and have reduced the cost of registration for students, community partners, and global attendees. Additional discounts are available to members of IARSLCE and our Alliance institutions.

How do I request an official invitation letter?
We can write letters of invitation for attendees who will be presenting at the conference. Please email conference@iarslce.org with your name and your presentation title.
My proposal was accepted, and I can no longer attend the conference. What should I do?
Email conference@iarslce.org with your name and the title of your presentation.
Will there be free wifi access?
Yes, Loyola-Guest is an open network and does not require authentication. Users will have to enter their name and email address in order to register. This registration expires within 24 hours. If during the login process you are asked to Trust a certificate, please click Trust. If you become disconnected from an SSID and cannot get back in, select "Forget Network" in your wireless settings and reconnect to that SSID again.
Do I need to sign up for specific sessions?
No. Registered attendees may attend any general session, breakout session, or opportunity listed in the conference schedule.
What is your refund, transfer, and cancellation policy?
Cancellations will receive a 100% refund until August 15, 2026 and 50% refund from August 16-September 15, 2026. No refunds will be issued beginning September 16, 2026. There will be no refunds for no-shows.
To transfer a registration to a colleague, contact conference@iarslce.org by September 15, 2026.
If the conference is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, registration fees will be fully refunded; however, IARSLCE is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred in connection to attending the conference (i.e. flights, hotel, etc.).
What to bring
In order to reduce our waste, we are not printing hardcopies of the conference program. Please download the conference app (Fourwaves on the AppStore or Google Play) or save the program on your phone so you remain aware of the schedule and session locations.
A note for presenters
If you are displaying slides (Lightning Talks and Research Papers only) don’t forget to bring your presentation uploaded on a flash drive, or you’ll be able to access your presentation via the internet (e.g. email, Google Docs, Dropbox).
